Alesya Nasimova is the Director, Associate General Counsel, Product & Privacy at Brex and previously was the Senior Director & Associate General Counsel, Product & Privacy at Fundbox where she led product counseling, data privacy & protection, and IP. Prior to Fundbox, she was Senior Product & Regulatory Counsel, Global DPO at Bolt where she has built and led the Compliance and Privacy Programs for scalability, sustainability, and international expansion, as well as spearheading the IP incentive program to drive product innovation. Alesya has served as in house counsel within the fintech industry for over 7 years holding positions such as Deputy General Counsel and Head of Legal and Compliance, having started her career working in the Commercial Real Estate and Investment Funding sector as well as devoting her time to pro bono work representing defendants in Consumer Debt Litigation. Alesya is an Advisory Board Member of the IAPP Privacy Education Board, and active member in the tech community advocating for innovation, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

JESSE IS COUNSEL OF RECORD IN MORE THAN 130 TRADE REMEDY MATTERS AND LEAD COUNSEL IN NUMEROUS HIGH-PROFILE INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND CUSTOMS CASES LITIGATED BEFORE CANADIAN COURTS AND TRIBUNALS. HE HAS BEEN AT THE FOREFRONT OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE ISSUES AFFECTING BUSINESSES AND GOVERNMENTS IN ASIA FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS, AND ADVISES GLOBAL CLIENTS ON TRADE POLICY, MARKET ACCESS, AND TRADE COMPLIANCE MATTERS.

HE REGULARLY APPEARS BEFORE THE CANADIAN INTERNATIONAL TRADE TRIBUNAL, THE FEDERAL COURT OF CANADA, AND THE FEDERAL COURT OF APPEAL.

LACEE CURRENTLY SERVES AS ASSOCIATE GENERAL COUNSEL AT AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS, HEADQUARTERED IN PITTSBURGH, PA, WHERE SHE HANDLES CORPORATE, COMMERCIAL, AND INTERNATIONAL LEGAL MATTERS.

PRIOR TO AMERICAN EAGLE, LACEE SERVED AS COUNSEL AT UNITED STATES STEEL CORPORATION. SHE HAS WORKED EXTENSIVELY IN TRANSACTIONAL MATTERS NEGOTIATING A VARIETY OF AGREEMENTS ACROSS THE ENTIRE ENTERPRISE IN BOTH THE STEEL AND RETAIL INDUSTRIES. SHE EARNED BOTH HER B.A. AND J.D. FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH AND IS ADMITTED TO THE PENNSYLVANIA BAR AND U.S. DISTRICT COURT FOR THE WESTERN DISTRICT OF PA.

Lisa Yerrace has been the Director, Senior Legal Counsel for Jo-Ann Stores, LLC for the last twelve years. Jo-Ann has a very small legal department thus Lisa supports all of Jo-Ann’s business units providing corporate, commercial, litigation, regulatory, international and intellectual property support.

Lisa is a 1999 graduate of Case Western Reserve University, holding a Bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology. Upon graduating from Case, Lisa attended the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. After graduating law school in 2002, Lisa clerked for The Honorable Russ Kendig, Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Ohio for a year and then practiced corporate bankruptcy and commercial finance at Calfee Halter and Griswold in Cleveland, Ohio for three years prior to joining Jo-Ann’s legal team.

Lisa grew up in Youngstown, Ohio where her father worked for Republic Steel and her mother worked as an office manager for various non-profit organizations. Lisa currently lives in Hudson, Ohio with her husband, her 6 year old amazing, autistic son and 4 year old sassy, independent daughter and their Newfoundland puppy. In her very rare spare time, Lisa likes to work out at her local Orangetheory Fitness.
