This session will cover how GCs are working with HR executives from the hiring process and beyond to create a better workplace for all employees -- regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or creed -- and avoid unnecessary discrimination.
In this program we will, of course, talk about ways to eliminate bias in the legal profession. The bulk of this program is about getting at the root cause for bias in the profession these days. By that I mean evaluating the causes for the subtle or implicit biases that we see in the practice of law.
