With all of the attention on workplace ethics in the media this past year, there is a new emphasis on transparency between management and employees. Employees (and customers alike) are expecting more definitive statements of what is acceptable behavior in the workplace. Meanwhile, companies are now more aware than ever of the repercussions of a PR crisis and are taking careful steps to mitigate risk -- such as speaking out on important issues.
