Any planner that assists veterans, and specifically those attorneys in estate, elder, and guardianship/conservatorship, should be familiar with how the VA Fiduciaries get involved, what the VA Fiduciary role is, and how the VA Fiduciary works alongside a state court-appointed guardian or conservator.

This program is the second part of a two-part webinar, The Advocates of Valor Series. Part two focuses on military / Veteran's benefits and other civil law matters. Part one offered in April focused on criminal law issues past and present Service members face.

This course will provide an overview of how the VA works (the organization of the VA), types of VA benefits available to veterans, basic eligibility for VA benefits, how appeals or claims are filed and processed, filing claims with the VA, and procedure.
