In this session, panelists will discuss how to run a high-stakes investigation and manage the messaging to internal and external constituencies - from government raid, through the investigation process, and the defense of the private civil lawsuits that follow disclosure of the investigation by the company, or some other company in the industry. Panelists will also discuss how to manage civil litigation through its various stages while a criminal investigation looms in the background.

Peter Ochroch

Senior Vice President, Group Legal Business
De Lage Landen Financial Services, Inc.

In his current job Peter is responsible for the global business relationships of De Lage Landen International, B.V., a global provider of equipment leasing and business finance solutions. In this role, he works with a team of lawyers in drafting and negotiating its global vendor and supplier relationships and maintains responsibility for managing related disputes. Peter’s internal team, which is split between Europe and the United States, includes lawyers from the Netherlands, Australia, Belgium, Brazil and the United States. Peter serves on several committees including the company’s global risk committee.

In his prior role Peter served as the Chief Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer for DLL’s United States operations. Peter has been practicing law for 27 years focusing in the areas of vendor finance, equipment leasing, secured and unsecured lending and structured finance. Peter has been with De Lage Landen since 2003.

Peter holds a J.D. from Villanova University and a B.A. from the Bucknell University.

Elizabeth Campbell

Senior Vice President, Group General Counsel & Compliance Counsel
AmerisourceBergen

Elizabeth Campbell is Senior Vice President, Group General Counsel and Compliance Counsel, at AmerisourceBergen. In this role, Elizabeth oversees corporate legal functions at ABC, including litigation, government investigations, employment, corporate & securities, privacy, IT support, and M&A. She also serves as legal counsel to the Office of Compliance. In that role, Elizabeth works closely with ABC’s Corporate Securities and Regulatory Affairs group and the Diversion Control team on issues related to ABC’s distribution of controlled substances, as well as issues that impact the pharmaceutical supply chain.

Since she joined AmerisourceBergen in 2010, Ms. Campbell has held various legal roles within the company. Prior to her current position, she served as AmerisourceBergen’s Vice President of Group General Counsel and Compliance Counsel.

Prior to joining AmerisourceBergen, Ms. Campbell worked at Pepper Hamilton LLP in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, supporting the firm’s Commercial Litigation and the White Collar and Corporate Investigations Practice Groups.

Ms. Campbell received her Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University in Pittsburgh and her J.D. with honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
