Dan is a seasoned trial attorney with extensive experience handling eDiscovery in matters ranging from single plaintiff cases to mass tort and class actions. Most recently, as a partner at an Am Law 200 firm, he represented businesses of all sizes in complex commercial, construction, products liability, and environmental litigation. Dan’s extensive experience guiding matters from inception at the pleading stage, through all phases of discovery, motions practice, settlement negotiations and trial, provides him with a unique and practical understanding of how eDiscovery strategy impacts budgets and outcomes. Likewise, his past experience representing large oil and chemical companies involved in environment and toxic tort litigation provides Dan with keen insights into large scale corporate and litigation challenges.

Lea Malani Bays is Of Counsel at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP in San Diego. Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd specializes in complex litigation, with an emphasis on securities class actions on behalf of investors. Lea currently focuses on the firm’s electronic discovery issues provides counsel to the firm’s multi-disciplinary e-discovery team. She is familiar with the various stages of electronic discovery, including identification of relevant electronically stored information, data culling, predictive coding protocols, privilege and responsiveness reviews. Lea also has also has experience in post-production discovery through trial preparation for a wide range of litigation.

Ann Marie’s practice is focused exclusively on providing advice and counsel on electronic discovery and information governance issues. She advises organizations on all aspects of discovery, from preservation through production, as well as on the development and implementation of information governance programs, and policies and procedures related to data privacy and data security. Her work in the automotive, pharmaceutical, financial, health care, and insurance industries gives her a broad-based perspective from which she draws in developing efficient and defensible legal and technology strategies for successful outcomes across business sectors. She has extensive experience working as a litigator specializing in complex civil litigation in both federal and state courts.
