NEW If you have purchased a bundle and are not sure how to start viewing your programs: Once you have purchased your bundle, you will see a link that says "Click here" to start adding programs to your bundle, in your Active Programs box, on your My Account page. CLECenter no longer dictates the courses you have to complete in the bundle, you can now pick the courses you would like to take. Once you have clicked in to add programs, you will have to click a similar link when you see your bundle listed, with the amount of credits you have available. That link "Add programs to my bundle" will then lead you to a course search, with your state already selected. You can then click "Add to bundle" on the programs you would like to take. You do not have to select all your courses at once. After selecting however many you would like, you then can click on My Account again, and will see them listed in your Active Programs box, ready to view.

NEW Windows XP users must use Chrome or Firefox to access this website. Alternatively, you may update your operating system to access the website.

NEWInternet Explorer version 11 users may notice significant visibility problems navigating the CLECenter.com website, because of certain agents in the new version of IE that are not compatible with our website at this time. If you do not wish to try a different browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox, you may follow these steps to adjust these issues:

  • Open CLECenter.com in IE v 11
  • Press your F12 key

Each course listed will have a “View Program” link which you must click in order to start playing the course. If that is the case, you can ask your IT department to whitelist the following URL:

https://streams.clecenter.com:8133/

What is a verification code? Where do I find it?

Arizona, Delaware, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Rhode Island require online CLE providers to embed a verification code in every program. This ensures that you have watched or listened to the program for which you are claiming CLE credit. All programs at CLECenter.com for the specific states that have an attendance verification requirement have one or more alphanumeric verification code(s) that will appear for a fixed duration of time during the course of the program.

The verification code(s) will appear within the media player window. Write down this code, and at the conclusion of the program you will be required to enter the code in order to receive your CLE certificate. This code is case sensitive; therefore if the code appears in capital or lower case, make sure it is entered in capital or lower case.

Please note that the code will appear on the screen in a small, white box, for audio programs in the same manner as for video programs. Just because a program is audio only does not mean that the code is also just audio. The program will pause for a full minute whenever the code is up on the screen. You may click the window with the code to continue the program, or the program will continue on its own and the code will disappear after one minute.

I have all the required plug-ins but I am having trouble viewing the program in the classroom, what should I do?

If your internet provider is Comcast and you are using Internet Explorer, you may experience connectivity issues. If possible, please try using a different browser instead, such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, and the programs should play smoothly. Otherwise, please try the following.

First, go to http://clecenter.com/customerservice/connection_test.aspx - this will tell you if you can connect to our server. If the RTMPT connection is a success, you should have no problem viewing our streams. Some customers from larger organizations have expressed the inability to connect to our servers. We use standard HTTP tunneling over port 80 to stream multimedia.

Second, if you receive a success but still cannot stream our multimedia programs, go to: http://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-media-server/kb/ports-firewalls-flash-media-server.html - this is Macromedia’s port connectivity test. This will tell us that you can in fact connect to a Flash Communications Server over the specified ports. This page has lots of helpful information regarding how we connect to a customer’s computer.

Lastly, if this all fails, have your system administrator add the URL for our streaming server to the firewall rule. Our streaming server is located at streams.clecenter.com. Ask them to make sure that standard HTTP tunneling is turned on and not proxied HTTP tunneling.

Please contact your system administrator should you require more help on this issue.

Friendly reminder: To earn credit for your CLE state(s) you must select your state(s) when browsing our catalog.

top
The media stream is inconsistent, sometimes smooth sometimes choppy. Why might this be happening?

Streaming multimedia from the Internet is resource intensive on your computer's memory. If you have multiple programs open, such as Microsoft Office applications, this can degrade the performance of the multimedia stream. If you experience poor performance, try closing some applications. A typical video stream will take up 25 - 40 MBs of your computer's RAM.

Streaming issues occur most frequently with Internet Explorer. If you are using IE and experiencing streaming issues, please try using another browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
