Panelist Biographies

Adrian White

Chief Information Officer

Adrian White is Chief Information Officer for WilmerHale. He is responsible for the firm's Information Services Department, comprising knowledge management, library and research services, records management, and information technology. Mr. White has more than 20 years of experience managing legal information services and technology.

The firm's Information Services Department leverages cost effective technology-based solutions and information services to enhance the firm and share information and knowledge with our internal and external clients.

Mr. White previously worked at the firm for 13 years, during which time he held positions of increasing responsibility involving systems architecture, knowledge management, library and research services, project management, and technology services. Mr. White was most recently chief information officer at Arnold & Porter.

Tony Cordeiro

Tony S. Cordeiro is the Chief Information Officer for White & Case and heads the global technology services group, covering IT Operations, Business Application Design, Development and Support, the IT Project Management Office, Business Continuity and the IT Relationship Management functions. He oversees all global technology supporting offices around the world and has been with the Firm since 2008.

Tony has extensive experience in directing the strategic technology planning and operations, records, conflicts, practice support and knowledge management functions of several large accounting and legal multinational professional services firms. He has earned the credential of Certified Information Technology Professional from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has also spent a large part of his career as a business practitioner serving external clients and developing important skills in legal technology management, financial audit, business advisory, business systems development and system selection experience in the private client, mutual fund management, financial, legal, insurance and retail sectors.

Tony received his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Project Management Institute and serves on Boards and Advisory Councils for local organizations and international firms.


Peter O'Rourke

Responsible for on-going support and over process improvement of a repeatable, defensible e-discovery program serving all UTC business units. Valued for contributions to development of cost-saving strategies for preservation, collection, processing and production of data for litigation and other compliance purposes. Legal project management skills and ability to liaise between Legal and Information Technology to ensure effective communication of requirements and goals. Familiar with legal hold, discovery workflow, collection, and review software. Court testimony experience as an expert witness. Active in the e-discovery legal community.

Scott J. Coonan has over twenty years of experience advising corporations on a broad range of intellectual property issues. Following in-house positions at three companies beginning in 1997, he joined Juniper Networks, Inc., in November 2004, and is currently the Senior Director of IP, Litigation, and Strategy. Before attending law school, he served for four years in the U.S. Air Force as an Acquisition Project Officer, attaining the rank of Captain.

Mr. Coonan is a graduate of Duke University, with a B.S. in electrical engineering, and the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at The College of William & Mary.
