Panelist Biographies

Daniel Nemet-Nejat

Associate Counsel
HBO

Daniel Nemet-Nejat is associate counsel at HBO, where he advises on all aspects of marketing campaigns for HBO original programming, with a focus on social media.

Prior to joining HBO, Daniel was an attorney at Davis & Gilbert, where he advised global advertising and marketing agencies and brands on all aspects of advertising and marketing.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Daniel worked as a filmmaker and entertainment journalist.


Romy Horn

General Counsel
360i LLC

Romy Horn is General Counsel at 360i, which has been named to Advertising Age’s Agency A-List four years in a row, and MediaPost's OMMA Agency of the Year three years straight. Romy oversees 360i’s legal team and all aspects of the company’s legal functions, including partnering with executive business clients in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, California and consulting with its affiliates globally to creatively manage legal risk and challenges in a fast-paced environment. She oversees all contract negotiations.

Romy also created and implemented agency-wide contract templates, policies, and training sessions for employees in intellectual property infringement, FTC Act, bribery laws, confidentiality and other relevant legal guidance as 360i continues to evolve and grow within the digital advertising space.

Since 2011, Romy has led legal negotiations with Fortune 500 and other prestigious clients, such as Spotify, Pernod Ricard, Nestle and Heineken. She has played a leading role in continually evolving legal transactions and services in the fast-paced world of digital communications, advancing standards for legal practice areas like social media, influencer marketing, content production, native advertising, programmatic media, and search marketing.

Romy brings more than 14 years of litigation experience, arbitration (as both a participant and adjudicator) to her role at 360i and broad knowledge of the intricate legal issues that surface in an evolving digital arena. She has been a speaker at legal conferences including, NYSBA on Native Advertising, ACI's Annual Summit on Digital Advertising Compliance and Corporate Counsel’s Annual IP Trade.

Paul received his JD, cum laude, from Fordham Law School. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a BA in Communication.

Richard Raysman is a partner in the New York office of Holland & Knight. Richard has been selected by Chambers as one of America's leading technology lawyers, and he is a regular guest columnist for The Wall Street Journal Technology Section.

He has represented clients in billions of dollars of outsourcing transactions, and he has litigated reported cases for the New York state and federal courts including many Internet and licensing disputes. Richard writes a monthly column for the New York Law Journal on "Technology Law".

Prior to practicing law, he was a Systems Engineer for IBM Corporation for six years.
